Controls:

WASD to move

hold Shift to run or hook to wall for wall run

Arrow keys to counter Attacks (Battle Mode)

Battle Mode:

To win, you have to either hit the enemy or recover from their attack, to do that you have to either have to match what arrow key you're pressing with the arrow GUI or press the key on the opposite side that the arrow GUI is displaying to attack.
